She has gone through several heart and eye surgeries, has a bad hip and she is hurting most of the time, that particular night in which the picture was taken, she had a crazy itch that would not leave her alone.

What is amazing to me is that regardless of how worn her body is and how much she complains about it, her spirit is young and when engaged in a conversation she transforms in to a little girl filled with excitement about practically everything. One can be entertained for hours just by listening to what she does during the day, the food she prepared herself for lunch, the shows she watched on the food network or the friends that she got to hang out with during the week.
When around her I cannot help but realize how enjoyable the simple pleasures of life really are.
