Saturday at Chinatown/February 09, 2003I spent about three hours on Saturday walking all over San Francisco looking for an open branch of my bank. Apparently the only open branch on Saturdays is located in Chinatown where there were huge lines to see a teller. When I got to the teller window after standing in line for about 30 minutes I handed over my deposit checks, only to be notified that one of the checks I just handed over was written for six ninety five as opposed to six hundred and ninety five dollars it was meant to be. I think the teller was able to tell how tired and frustrated I was because she winked at me and very nicely said that she would overlook the mistake this time and I should be more careful next time around, needless to say I was relieved. |
