Contribute is a new product by Macromedia I have been using for the last few weeks. The program has been a blessing; it allows me to allow my clients to edit their copy in their websites. No more worrying about small copy changes or typos- they are in control, they own their content and are responsible for it.

My wife wondered if having my clients do their own copy changes would result in less billable hours, my answer to her was that probably yes, less billable hours of unsatisfying work. Lets get honest here, who enjoys spending time doing small petty copy changes.

In the long run programs such as this will allow me to concentrate in the more interesting part of projects such as design and less time administrating and maintaining the existing client base.
