Unable to Recover

I finally installed a 160 GIG hard drive that will free me from having to delete or back up to disc almost every other week. I also came up with a date-based system to organize my photographs.

Yesterday, I began to sort my photos into their respective folders and then tragedy struck; I accidentally deleted a folder containing most of my photos for last week. I frantically searched the web for data recovery software but once installed, the software was unable to recover my files. Apparently jpeg files are very easy to get corrupted once they are deleted. Aghh!, I guess the obvious lesson is to never empty the trash bin without double checking its contents.
