Claustrophobic Celebration

From 7pm until 10:30 Sunday evening I had the most excruciating exercise in patience and restraint I can recall in recent years. I spent 3 and a half hours sitting down in a booth in a crowded Italian restaurant having dinner with the in-laws for Father’s Day.

The little punks in the picture, Alex and Nico with whom I have the pleasure of being brothers in law, spent the lovely dinner yelling and beating each other no less than fifteen times.

I think that next time we will cook dinner and have them over where I will at least have the chance to occasionally excuse myself to go out for fresh air.
