Billing

/

September 23, 2003

I hate billing. Billing is a necessary evil that can't be avoided. It is not that I don't actually like to ask or at times demand payment but rather the actual creation of an invoice. So far this is what I do: every time I begin a project I start a timer on my desktop and at the end of the project, I log the time on my palm desktop software with the client name and task description.
Ideally at the end of the month but realistically every time I need money, I go back and dig up the info on a given client and send an invoice.
I know this is not the most efficient way as I waste a lot of time looking for the information, putting a list together for the details and digging through past invoices for the client's information. Today I decided to look for billing software and this so far is what I found :

StopWatch
