My laptop appeared to have died last night. The stupid thing had a virus. It sucks to have to download the necessary anti-virus patches over the awful chirping sounds of a 56K modem late at night from a hotel room.

The whole situation made me realize that I have not gone anywhere for years without my computer by my side. I don’t really know what to make of it.
